Here's her email: Get the latest, news, weather, sports and community events delivered right to your inbox! Hi Jaime. I had a nice party with my family and some close friends recently. I recently redid my backyard and wanted to share that with the people I love. Well, my sister and her family came, along with my 23 year old nephew Jack. While everyone at the party was enjoying each other and playing games with one another, Jack sat in the corner on his phone. Several times, I asked him to put his phone down to come and hang out with us, and he kind of blew me off. After asking him a few more times, I finally asked him to leave. He was being rude and he was old enough to know better. He looked shocked, but I meant it, so he got up and left. Now my sister is upset with me, but I think I did the right thing. He needs to learn that is inappropriat...

Ask Amy: Friendship is sucked up in a tornado of drama Dear Amy: I moved to a new city, and work remotely. I’m trying to make friends. One person I’ve met, “Shelley,” has offered way too much information about some abusive relationships in her life.I’ve tried to be supportive, but every time I see her, I get an onslaught of truly disturbing drama about her exes or other relationships. Everything in Shelley’s life is really intense.I don’t want to be a crappy friend, but these conversations are incredibly triggering for me; I have an anxiety disorder that I’m trying to manage.Shelley texts day or night to talk about some new drama or problem. There never seems to be an opportunity to redirect her or talk about anything else.My ability to be supportive is wearing thin. She is exhausting. There is nothing about this dynamic that suggests that she cares about me as a person or that she is trying to find her way out of her tornado of drama. There seems to be an expectation that I am supposed to be here for her to observ...

It was not immediately clear how many of the drones were shot over Kyiv.In what also appears to be the first deadly attack on Kyiv in May and the 14th assault this month, falling debris killed a 41-year-old man, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said. The pre-dawn attacks came on the last Sunday of May when the capital celebrates Kyiv Day, the anniversary of its official founding 1,541 years ago. The day is typically marked by street fairs, live concerts and special museum exhibitions - plans for which have been made this year too, but on a smaller scale."The history of Ukraine is a long-standing irri...

Bridge: May 30, 2023 Cy the Cynic is a bachelor — confirmed, he says, at an early age. Wendy, my club’s feminist, defines a bachelor as a man who missed his chance to make some woman miserable.“So she has a low opinion of men,” Cy said, displaying today’s deal. “You wouldn’t have thought so after the way she defended here.”In a penny game, Wendy led the queen of hearts against four spades. Cy won and shifted to the jack of clubs: deuce, eight, queen. South led a trump to his hand and tried a diamond to dummy’s queen, winning.“He next led a second trump,” the Cynic told me, “and Wendy clung to her king of diamonds like he was the man of her dreams.”MAKING FOURSouth led a second diamond, and when Wendy played the king, dummy played low.
