In a case that hinged on the definition of “beer,” a federal jury ruled Wednesday that Constellation Brands can still sell Corona and Modelo hard seltzers in the U.S.Anheuser-Busch InBev and its Mexican subsidiary, Grupo Modelo, sued Constellation in 2021, seeking to force it to halt sales of Corona Hard Seltzer and Modelo Ranch Water, a spiked sparkling beverage. Constellation has been licensed to sell Corona and Modelo beers in the U.S. since 2013 under an agreement reached with antitrust regulators after AB InBev acquired Grupo Modelo. (AP) — A house fire in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula has killed a man and three young children, authorities said Wednesday.The bodies of a 31-year-old adult and three children believed to range in age from 1 to 4 years old were recovered from the fire Tuesday morning in Sault Ste. Marie, the city’s police and fire chiefs said in a news release posted on Facebook.A man in his 30s was found dead at the scene of the fire, Police Chief Wesley Bierling said. BRIGHTON, Colo. (KDVR) --Three people are in custody after one person was shot in Brighton, police said. Police responded near South 9th Avenue and Bush Street after receiving reports of shots fired around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. In a news conference, Brighton Police Chief Matt Domenico said student resource officers were on scene within seconds and responding officers showed up quickly after. Officers found shell casings at the intersection but no victims were located, Domenico said. One person was injured in the shooting and went to urgent care on their own with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Per information found at the scene, police located a vehicle at PVHS matching the description of the vehicle involved in the incident, Domenico said. WASHINGTON (AP) — Two Florida men were convicted Wednesday of storming the U.S. Capitol during the January 2021 insurrection.Joshua Christopher Doolin, 25, of Polk City, and Michael Steven Perkins, 39, of Plant City, were each found guilty of felony civil disorder, entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds and disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds, according to court records. Doolin was also convicted of theft of government property. Perkins was separately convicted of assaulting a federal officer with a deadly or dangerous weapon and engaging in acts of physical violence while on the restricted Capitol grounds. Boston police asked for the public’s help Wednesday in a search for a missing 22-year-old Dorchester man. Police said Christian Alicea Castro was last seen leaving Charlestown High School around 1:00 p.m. Wednesday. Police said Castro was wearing a black zip-up hoodie, a gray “c-town” tee shirt, dark gray pants, black sneakers with white soles and a gray backpack with red writing on it. Castro has short hair and a goatee.Castro has mental health issues, according to police. Though he is mostly non-verbal, police said his primary language is Spanish.
