DENVER (KDVR) — Denver's weather reached the 90s each day through the Labor Day holiday weekend, bringing the 90-degree (or higher) tally to 36 days. The 30-year average for Denver at 90 degrees or higher is 46 days.There is relief on the way, however, thanks to a cold front sliding south Monday. WELLINGTON, Fla. (WSVN) — A South Florida neighborhood was hit by hate.Residents in Wellington, near West Palm Beach, woke up early Monday morning and found plastic bags full of flyers with antisemitic propaganda and a mysterious substance in the form of pellets.More than 100 bags were discovered so far.Similar bags have been dumped in several other Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach neighborhoods over the past year.Death investigation underway after body found at home in Pembroke Pines

A death investigation is underway after a body was found inside a home in Pembroke Pines.Pembroke Pines Police arrived at the home, located at 311 SW 71st Ave., Monday morning.Neighbors in the area told 7News that someone in the home became concerned for some reason and called police to conduct a welfare check.According to neighbors, two brothers live at the home. Their late mother also lived at the home. “It’s a family, two brothers that stay there,” said a neighbor. “Nice family. They’re real calm, quiet, they don’t really bother nobody around the neighborhood. Neighborhood is pretty quiet. We don’t have any drama or anything like that. Nobody hear anything, to be honest with you. I just came out and seen this whole entire scenery.” It is unknown how long the body was at the home before it was discovered. The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) is investigating the death of a man found pinned underneath a vehicle in West Miami-Dade, Monday afternoon.Police arrived at the scene, located in the 1300 block of SW 122 Avenue, just after 1:30 p.m., and found an unresponsive adult male trapped beneath a vehicle. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived at the scene and confirmed the man’s demise.MDPD Homicide detectives have taken charge of the investigation. Firefighters responded in Dorchester Monday afternoon after a fire broke out in a residential building and caused part of the structure to collapse. The Boston Fire Department said crews were called to 37 Holiday St. where flames burned through the back of a house and extended to a building next door.On the department’s Twitter account, officials said several rear porches in the back of the home collapsed as a result of the fire.Authorities also shared photos from the scene, including an image of crews spraying down the back of the house, which appeared to be burnt out with remnants of the porches and back wall visible.In an update just before 4:15 p.m., Boston FD said the fire was knocked down after it spread to at least two other buildings.A total of five buildings appeared to have been affected by the fire as of around 5 p.m. Among the damage, the siding of at least one building close to the structure that f caught fire had melted. One person is facing criminal charges in connection with a shooting inside a nightclub in Mattapan that left two people hospitalized, police said.Officers responding to a reported shooting in the area of 477 River St. around 12:46 a.m. Monday found a person suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound outside Macumba night club, according to Boston police. A second victim self-applied to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Boston Mayor Michelle Wu responded Monday to a recent proposal from members of the Boston City Council aimed at addressing the crisis in Boston’s Mass and Cass area. In a letter Friday, four city councilors called on the city’s Public Health Commission to declare an emergency in the area near the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard. A dog who had been missing for weeks in the South Shore area is recovering after being found in a boggy area, according to a non-profit.Missing Dogs Massachusetts said “Henry,” a pet dog from Duxbury, only had a few scratches on him after he was found Monday morning, following over two weeks without a sighting.On their Facebook page, the group said the rescue came after barking had been heard in a nearby neighborhood over the past two days. It later led to a resident going out and finding the dog in a nearby, boggy area.“This morning a local homeowner, Kevin, was able to safely retrieve Henry from a wet boggy area,” the group said. “Many many thanks to Kevin and Nancy and Andy and Ylana for alerting MDM of the barking.
