BLACK JACK, Mo. - Three firefighters were hurt after a rollover crash overnight.The fire chief is describing their injuries as minor. They were taken to a hospital to get checked out. Crews were initially responding to a house fire in Florissant.The fire cheif told FOX 2 that a car apparently pulled out in front of his firefighters' truck -and it ended up in a ditch as a result.This all happened Tuesday night at the intersection of Old Halls Ferry Road and Country Club Court, just before 9:00 p.m. It's not far from the Florissant Golf Club and about a mile away from Black Jack Fire Protection District Engine House 1. St. Louis weather from Meteorologist Angela Hutti:ST. LOUIS - Two rounds of thunderstorms are expected Wednesday. The first round will move from west to east during the morning and early afternoon. A few stronger storms could bring some hail and strong wind gusts.The second round will develop later in the afternoon and evening farther south. This round will bring a slightly more robust chance of severe weather, with threats of strong winds, hail, and tornadoes possible. NASHVILLE, Ill. - A police officer in Nashville, Illinois, was stabbed in the neck overnight.Officers conducted a welfare check on a man with mental issues. When they located him, they took him into protective custody with plans to take him to a nearby hospital - but first, they took him to his home to grab some belongings. Bump-and-rob carjackings on the rise, police say While at the home, police shared that the man grabbed a sharp object, stabbed the officer in the neck, and then barricaded himself in the bathroom. ST. LOUIS - Boeing has plans for a nearly $2 billion expansion project near St. Louis Lambert International Airport. They call it 'Project Voyager.'The Airport Commission meets Wednesday to consider leasing 154 acres of airport land to Boeing for the project, including the former McDonnell- Douglas facilities. Boeing also wants a 50% tax break on the project from the St. Louis County Council - in exchange for creating 500 jobs.The county council met Tuesday night, but took no action. New estimates show Boeing would save $155 million over 10 years if the tax break is approved. That would impact the tax money available to area school districts. (AP) — A single ticket sold in Florida is good for a $1.58 billion Mega Millions jackpot, ending a stretch of lottery futility that had stretched for nearly four months.A Publix grocery store in Neptune Beach sold the winning ticket, according to the Florida Lottery.
