LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- According to a release from America's Best Restaurants, Olde Log Inn will be featured on "America's Best Restaurants Roadshow." Filming for the social media episode will be in mid-July. Get the latest, news, weather, sports and community events delivered right to your inbox! The viewing will include shots of delicious dishes, an extensive interview with owner Richard Askew, and the interior rustic design which features exposed wood rafters, taxidermy, and a gas fireplace in the dining area. Olde Log Inn also features an outdoor eating area that overlooks the beautiful Adirondack mountains. The restaurant's episode premiere date will be announced on Olde Log Inn's Facebook page and will be featured on "America's Best Restaurants" website. ST. LOUIS -- The Heat Advisory continues for today into Friday for top temperatures that may reach over 100 degrees in Missouri. However, scattered storms in Illinois will cut down on the heat in areas east of St. Louis.Several clusters of strong to severe storms are forecast to drop for Iowa into central and then southern Illinois today into tonight. These storms may bring damaging winds, hail and even a tornado threat to the St. Louis area. Some of them may start to pop up at around 11 a.m. Thursday.The extreme heat will continue to be an issue in Missouri Friday and more storms are expected in Illinois, with St. Louis right in the middle of it all. Sheriff’s deputies shot a man suspected of setting a vehicle on fire at his property in Grand Junction in western Colorado, and on Thursday a team of investigators was preparing to look into what happened, according to Grand Junction police.Mesa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to calls that a man who lived in the 2900 block of Sandra Avenue started the fire around 10:20 p.m. Wednesday, the police said in a news release. Firefighters came to put out the fire. When deputies tried to contact the man, “an officer-involved shooting occurred,” the police said.Firefighters took the man to a hospital. No information on his condition was released.The deputy has been placed on paid leave, police said. Police asked for the public's help Wednesday in locating two suspects who used a handgun to rob four minors in an Irvine restroom earlier this week. The incident occurred around 9:22 p.m. Monday at the Spectrum Center and was partially captured on surveillance video posted to the Irvine Police Department's Twitter feed.Investigators said the minors were followed into the restroom by two suspects who demanded their shoes.One of the suspects can be seen in the video displaying a black handgun. A fiery crash that left one dead on the 101 Freeway prompted a SigAlert for four eastbound lanes through Studio City Thursday morning.The incident was reported around 3 a.m. when a vehicle struck a construction truck and caught fire just west of the 134 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol's traffic incident log.The vehicle became fully engulfed in flames with the driver still inside.Authorities respond to a fatal crash on the 101 Freeway in Studio City on June 29, 2023.
