36-Year-Old Scooter Rider Hospitalized after a Vehicle Accident near Zion AvenueSAN DIEGO, CA (May 8, 2023) – Early Tuesday morning, a scooter crash on Delbarton Street left one man with injuries.The incident happened on May 2nd, just after 1:00 a.m., in the Allied Gardens neighborhood involving a 2012 Toyota Camry and a 36-year-old scooter rider.Preliminary investigation showed that the scooter rider failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection. The Toyota that was traveling in the area was unable to avoid him and the two vehicles collided. The impact of the collision caused the rider to sustain serious injuries including cerebral hemorrhage, a collapsed lung, and other internal damages.
