All clear given after bomb threat called into Park Lakes Elementary in Lauderdale Lakes The all clear has been given after authorities responded to a bomb threat called into Park Lakes Elementary School. The threat was called in just before 10:30 a.m. at 3925 N State Road 7 in Lauderdale Lakes, prompting an evacuation of the campus.7Skyforce flew over the campus around 11 a.m. as students were removed from the premises as a precaution, with Broward County Sheriff’s Office deputies on hand to assist.According to officials with Broward County Public Schools, the students were safely relocated to an alternate site and parents were notified.Shortly after 12:30 p.m., the all-clear was given and students who had not already been picked up were able to return to class. As part of the deal reached with prosecutors, he will be on probation for two years, serve 60 days in jail, and complete 100 hours of community service. US orders Puerto Rico drug distribution company to pay $12 million in opioid case SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) — One of Puerto Rico’s biggest distributors of pharmaceutical drugs was ordered to pay $12 million after being accused of not reporting hundreds of suspicious orders for controlled substances, the U.S. Justice Department said Monday.Drogueria Betances, LLC is accused of not reporting at least 655 orders for fentanyl and at least 113 orders for oxycodone from 2016 through June 2019.
