Scooter-riding suspect robs four men at gunpoint outside Oakland restaurant

OAKLAND — Four men eating outside a fast food restaurant Monday night near the Coliseum were robbed at gunpoint of their wallets and cash by a scooter-riding suspect, authorities said.None of the men were injured.The robbery happened about 9:40 p.m. Monday in the parking lot of a Taco Bell in the 600 block of Hegenberger Road, authorities said.Authorities said the victims ranged in age from 42 to 62. Significant amounts of rainfall are still possible in the Bay Area in the remaining part of the week, but forecasts continued to trend drier than anticipated as Tuesday morning broke, according to the National Weather Service.Monday’s forecast predicted that a stormy week would kick off around midnight on Tuesday morning, but NWS models showed only trace amounts of rain between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. in Oakland and Concord and just .03 inches at San Francisco International Airport. (KRON) – Two people were arrested on narcotics and weapons charges by the Santa Rosa Police Department on Sunday.Santa Rosa police officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation on a black Mercedes sedan turning south on Corby Avenue from the Corby Avenue Extension on Nov. 12 at 3:55 a.m. One person dead after shooting in Vallejo The driver of the vehicle was identified as 43-year-old Pinole resident Jennifer Erickson. According to police, officers discovered Erickson was in possession of suspected narcotics, paraphernalia, and a loaded handgun magazine. The officers then conducted a vehicle search, where police reportedly found two loaded 9 mm Glock handguns and several loaded magazines.The passenger of the vehicle was identified as 35-year-old Vallejo resident Dustin Ratilainen. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Zay Jones got into a custody argument with the mother of his child and left fingernail scratches on her neck, according to a police report released Tuesday.Parts of the report from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office were redacted. The woman told deputies she was visiting Jones and his family on Monday when Jones got upset that she was taking their child back to Orlando.Police observed “several small scratches” on the woman’s neck that were “consistent with marks from a fingernail,” according to the report. The woman completed necessary paperwork, including a written statement, and Jones was arrested on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge. He was transported to the Duval County Jail without incident.Jones was booked Monday evening and made his first appearance before a judge Tuesday. ETNA, Ohio (AP) — A charter bus carrying students from a high school was rear-ended by a semi-truck on an Ohio highway Tuesday morning, leaving three people dead and 15 others injured, according to an emergency official.The charter bus was transporting students from the Tuscarawas Valley Local School District in eastern Ohio, Licking County Emergency Management Agency Director Sean Grady said.
