With a recent string of retail theft in Los Angeles, Mayor Karen Bass announced the formation of a combative task force.The Organized Retail Crime Task Force will consist of multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, LAPD, California Highway Patrol (CHP), Glendale PD, Beverly Hills PD and Santa Monica PD.
