LONDON (AP) — Credit Suisse owes former Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili hundreds of millions of dollars for failing to protect the billionaire’s money held in a trust pilfered by a manager, a Singapore court ruled Friday, the latest scandal for the Swiss bank whose yearslong problems forced its takeover by a rival.Ivanishvili in 2004 put more than $1.1 billion into a trust overseen by the bank’s Singapore subsidiary, Credit Suisse Trust Limited, and the employee managing the trust “misappropriated many millions of dollars” over nine years before being caught and sent to prison, the Singapore International Commercial Court said. CHICAGO — Two teenagers are in critical condition after a shooting on the city's Near West Side.The shooting happened around 6:17 a.m. Friday in the 1800 block of West Maypole. Police said a 17-year-old boy and 18-year-old were getting into a vehicle when the another person approached them.According to police, the offender pulled out a gun and fired shots at both teens. SAN ANTONIO, Texas (KXAN) -- Police are searching for two children who were abducted from San Antonio and last seen Thursday afternoon. A suspect has been named in connection to their abduction.The San Antonio Police Department is searching for Zylah Faulks, a 2-year-old Black female. She's described as 2’09” in height and 30 lbs, with black hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing unknown clothing. Police are also searching for Kamil Brown-Sykes, a 9-year-old Black female. CASTROVILLE — The Monterey County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office has identified two individuals killed Tuesday in a head-on collision near Molera Road.Dorothy Cousins, 79, of Soquel, was driving southbound on Highway 1 when a driver operating a GMC Sierra pickup traveled directly into the path of her car, a Mazda CX-5. The cause of the crash remained under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Monterey area this week.Both Cousins and her backseat passenger, James Hendrickson, 76, of Dandridge, Tennessee, were killed in the crash. Cousins’ front-seat passenger, a 73-year-old woman from Tennessee, suffered major injuries and was transported to an area trauma center for care. The driver of the GMC, a 69-year-old Santa Cruz man who had been driving northbound around 12:30 p.m., also was taken to the hospital for treatment of major injuries.
