DENVER (KDVR) -- One person died and three others were seriously injured after a crash on Colorado Highway 86 in Douglas County east of Franktown.Colorado State Patrol was investigating the crash, with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office assisting.According to CSP, the call came in at 11:15 a.m., and two vehicles were involved.A sedan was turning westbound out of a private drive onto CO 86 while a pickup truck pulling a trailer was eastbound. The truck collided with the sedan. Videos capture bright meteor falling above Colorado The driver of the sedan died on the scene, while the passenger suffered serious injuries. Grocery delivery company Instacart is going public. The San Francisco-based company filed paperwork Friday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. SAN DIEGO (AP) — The U.S. military has identified the Marine Corps pilot who was killed Thursday when his combat jet crashed near a San Diego base during a training flight.Maj. Andrew Mettler was piloting an F/A-18D Hornet when it went down at 11:54 p.m. Thursday near Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing said in a statement from its headquarters in Cherry Point, North Carolina. Searchers recovered Mettler’s body at the site, and the crash remains under investigation.Known as “Simple Jack,” Mettler was a native of Georgia and stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort in South Carolina. A man has died following a early Sunday morning shooting in downtown Denver, according to police.At 3:16 a.m., Denver police tweeted that it was investigating a shooting in the area of 22nd and Lawrence streets where one person was sent a hospital. The man shot was “pronounced deceased on scene” in an update Sunday afternoon.UPDATE: The victim, an adult male, was pronounced deceased on scene.
