(NEXSTAR) – Residents of the northeastern U.S. saw firsthand this summer the devastation flooding can cause in a community. Unfortunately, scientists predict flooding will only become more common as the years go on. A map created by Climate Central, an organization of scientists and journalists focused on studying the impacts of climate change, shows what the future may hold for coastal communities as sea level rises.In the first map (below), we set the projections to include sea level rise and typical annual flooding (weather that can be expected every year). CORINTH, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Three people from Corinth have been arrested following a narcotics investigation, according to police. On July 20, the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office narcotics unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the Woodcrest Mobile Home Park in Corinth after an extensive drug trafficking investigation was conducted in Saratoga County. ST. LOUIS - A homicide investigation is underway after one man was killed and another was hurt in a shooting Thursday in north St. Louis. St. Louis police say a 52-year-old man died, and a 29-year-old man was hurt. Neither of the victims have been identified, and no suspect information is available. The shooting happened around 5 p.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of Shawmut Place in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood. Protests over Francis Howell plan to allow anti-racism resolution to expire It's unclear what led up to the shooting, but police found the 52-year-old inside a home with a gunshot to his arm and the 29-year-old outside a home with a gunshot wound to his leg. The 52-year-old died from his injuries. Homicide detectives with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department are handling the investigation.
