DELMAR, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Rensselaer man has been arrested following a burglary investigation, according to police. John Whiteford, 41, is facing multiple charges. Police say that Whiteford is accused of burglarizing Great Wall Chinese Kitchen and Empire Wok, both located in Delmar. The two incidents reportedly occurred on August 13. Whiteford is also currently on parole. Marciano-Brown, 56, were taken into custody following the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Fort Ann. LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The 34-year-old man from Moreau accused of shooting a person in the Queensbury Walmart parking lot on November 27 was sentenced to twelve years in prison. Adrian Simental was also ordered to three years of post-release supervision and a 20-year order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim. Smith, the owner of DAS Builders & Remodeling LLC., was charged with grand larceny in the third degree and scheme to defraud in the first degree. Investigations determined that Smith agreed to complete a home renovation project in November 2022.
