Ant McPartlin Checks Into Rehab Right after Admitting Drink And Drugs Dilemma


Nation’s favourite, and a single-half of Television duo Ant & Dec has checked himself into rehab soon after admitting he has a dilemma with drugs and alcohol. 

The star, who 1st rose to fame in Byker Grove, held a tearful interview with The Sun on Sunday exactly where he detailed how a chronic knee injury and depression has led to an addiction to prescription medication coupled with alcohol and substance abuse.

He told The Sun on Sunday:

“The 1st step is to admit to oneself you want aid. I’ve let folks down. I’m really sorry.

I really feel like I have let a lot of folks down and for that I’m really sorry. I want to thank my wife, loved ones and closest close friends by means of this seriously challenging time.”

Ant will invest at least two months in the clinic, which will hopefully place him effectively on the road to recovery. The presenter 1st began experiencing challenges more than two years ago, soon after a botched operation to repair cartilage in his knee. Unaware that of the ongoing injury, he continued to operate, and sadly eroded the bone till his kneecap slipped, causing ongoing agony.

Speaking additional, he explained:

“I really feel like I have let a lot of folks down and for that I am really sorry.

“I want to thank my wife, loved ones and closest close friends for assisting me by means of this seriously challenging time.

“I’ve spoken out for the reason that I feel it is crucial that folks ask for aid if they’re going by means of a rough time and get the correct remedy to aid their recovery.”
